FIREBRAND SUPER ROCK play real classic heavy metal with soaring female vocals, thundering riffs and screaming solos. Since forming in Edinburgh in late 2004, FIREBRAND SUPER ROCK have gigged tirelessly, played at festivals such as Bloodstock Open Air and Hammerfest and supported Slayer, Trivium, Mastodon and Amon Amarth at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
The press have embraced the bands sound, with a full page live review and double page feature in Metal Hammer, airplay from Bruce Dickinson and countless other glowing reviews. In a musical climate starting to swing towards real, traditional Heavy Metal, FIREBRAND SUPER ROCK have the songs and the stage show to put them way ahead of the pack.
The debut album is now out on Rising Records and is available from all the usual outlets. A full Eropean/UK tour will be announced for Spring 2012 so keep your eyes peeled for dates in your area.

Formed in the Autumn of 2009, Dr. Keating's Clamp started writing tracks together, and soon after, recorded and produced their first E.P. The first set of live gigs ended in sold out bars, packed venues and supercharged fans, a trend which followed the band to all of their gigs. After gaining a loyal fanbase and playing shows with Grieve, Mantra, Firebrand Super Rock as well as metal all dayers, Dr. Keating's Clamp are ready to play shows across the country.

Take 1kg Death Metal, mix with 1/2kg of Groove and leave to set until fucking heavy. Pour in two tablespoons of sweet melody and a teaspoon of chromatic discord then whisk. Grease a baking tray with heavy rhythm and pour in the mixture. Place in a nuclear furnace for roughly an infinite amount of time until the sweet abomination is heavier than a black hole. Check that your drums are blistering while also brick-wall-solid; ensure that rhythm and bass guitars have become infused and are a unified being of pure metal energy. The lead guitar topping should be golden brown and delicious to the ears. Finally, take a sharp knife and cut through to the core and ensure that it screams bloody murder in your face.
