Well as many of you will know this is the Gasworks fifth anniversary month and we are giving out freebies. Last Friday we gave the first thirty people in after 8.00 a one off anniversary shirt and this week we’ll be giving everyone something. But this is just for Friday and after 8.00 pm and next week we’ll be giving away something else.

To top it all we’ll be also giving the first fifty customers a free house shot, compliments of thr Gasworks.

Monday to Thursday we open from 10am to 8:30pm and we play rock TV but the volume is low enough to have a decent conversation.

You can also play darts and table football and play pool for free all the time. Friday we open 10:30am to 3:00am, Saturday midday to 3:00

The Gasworks now has traditional hand pulled cask beer from the cellar and it has been a big hit straightaway.

We will introduce more pumps as we go along and we have started with the excellent Saltaire brewery brands.

We like to supply local produce as this it keeps local people in employment but as we get more pumps we might add the odd mainstream brands like Bob Goblin and Black Sheep but we are happy with what we have.

We have had a turbulent time with moving venues over the last couple of years. The last one we had to move due to the property being sold but we are happy where we are now on Ivegate.

We are based just above the KFC on Ivegate and very centralised in the city. We started off with the 600 capacity ground floor and recently we have opened the basement and that adds 200 more. We use this for bands and other music like metal room after the bands on a Saturday. We are using it on Fridays for metal at the moment but it will open for different genres like Indie on the last Friday of each month.

We are people who listen to our customers and it is down to you why the Gasworks brand is so successful and the leading rock nightclub for many miles.
